Dan spent 25 years 

as a freelance illustrator 

before transitioning into 

the world of fine art. 

His favorite 

things to paint are 

buildings and people,

 so he combines the two 

by painting lively 

city-scapes, 

mostly of downtown Raleigh.

And he has been 

doing this 

for nearly a 

quarter of a 

century.
